ETOWAH COUNTY VOTER'S LEAGUE

AN AFFILIATE OF THE ALABAMA DEMOCRATIC CONFERENCE

OUR PURPOSE OF THE ALABAMA DEMOCRATIC CONFERENCE TO:

  • Conduct regular voter registration drives in Alabama.

  • Keep strong political units in each county & congressional district office.

  • Get blacks elected to public office

  • Elect whites responsive to the needs of blacks and poor people.

  • Monitor the voting records of elected officials.

  • Screen and endorse candidates, and to prepare guide ballots.

  • Secure registration & provide more jobs for black & poor people.

  • Advocate and advance cause of the Democratic Party.
